Kent’s Cube Steak with Wes’ “old Bay” Fried Okra and Roasted Potatoes

Ingredients

For the Steak:

  • Cube Steak from Tink’s Grass Fed Beef

  • Black pepper

  • Sweet Onions

For the Okra:

  • 1-2 lbs of organic okra – washed and cut into pieces

  • 1 cup of corn meal

  • 2 Tablespoons of course black pepper

  • 2 Tablespoons of OLD BAY seasoning

  • 1 Tablespoon of dried salt free garlic

  • 1 Tablespoon of cayenne pepper if you want it spicy

Roasted Red Potatoes:

  • 2 lbs of red potatoes cubed

  • 1 large sweet onion chopped

  • 1 red bell pepper chopped

  • 2 tablespoons of black ground pepper

  • 1 tablespoon of OLD BAY seasoning

  • 1/4 stick of melted organic butter

Directions

For the Steak:

Pan sear your Cube Steak until almost done…add your onions, black pepper, and water to pan drippings..Transfer to a baking dish. Bake at 375 covered for 30 minutes. No salt needed

For the Okra:

Mix all your dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Add your okra and coat well. Heat Vegetable oil in a skillet. Add and cook okra til golden brown. Drain.. Don’t add salt.

For the Potatoes:

Mix potatoes and onions together raw with your butter and seasoning mixture. Lay out a baking sheet with foil…add your potatoes and bake potatoes for 15 minutes on 375F …after 15 minutes, add your onions and onions..bake an additional 15 minutes.. after this, broil for 5 mintues to brown your potatoes
