Tink’s Sirloin or Ny Strip Steak Cooked to perfection

Recipes

Directions

Take a Tink’s sirloin or NY strip steak, rub it down well with olive oil, sea salt, granulated garlic, thyme, and cracked black pepper. You can poke it repeatedly with a fork or use a tenderizer thing-a-ma-jig on it if you would like, but I find them to be tender enough without. Let the steak sit out for an hour.

Sear in the HOTTEST pan available, preferably an iron skillet. I mean smokin’ hot. I generally set off the smoke alarms in the house when I prepare this. It’s a small price to pay. 🙂

Sear in the very hot pan for as short a time as possible. This creates a nice dark crust on the outside and leaves the center deliciously red. The flavor….. oh my my my!!! It’s the stuff dreams are made of…. 🙂
