The Tink Double Burger

Recipes

Ingredients

  • 1 part Tink’s Ground Beef

  • 1 part Tink’s Ground Sausage

  • (We use 1 pound of each that makes six burgers)

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • 1/2 cup FRESH Basil

  • 1/2 White onion

  • Cracked Black Pepper

  • Sea salt

  • (Salt and Pepper by preference. You can always add after cooking to taste if you like.)

Directions

Hot Wood Grill! Close the grill down so it cooks at 200 degrees or so. This takes longer but sweet Mother Mary it is worth the wait! Done right you should only flip the burger one time in the whole grilling process. After about 10 min on a smoky 200 degree grill flip those bad boys and wait another 10. Perfect all the way through!

We added some of John Carter’s Japanese Eggplants halved, covered in Olive Oil and Cracked Black Pepper. Do not turn the eggplant. With the Low and Slow heat you get great searing on one side with tons of flavor and a soft side that once it is plate down makes it fork ready. No knife needed.
