Smoky Joes

1 lb. of Tinks Ground Beef
1 onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced
4 garlic cloves, minced
tsp. cumin
tsp. turmeric
tsp. chipotle powder
1 tsp. smoked sea salt
1 tsp. smoked paprika
tsp. sweet paprika
tsp. black pepper
c. ketchup
1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
Coconut oil or olive oil
Sourdough bread or hamburger buns

Cook onion and pepper in a skillet with coconut or olive oil. Once the onion and pepper start to become soft, add garlic. Cook for about a minute and then add the ground beef. Brown the meat. While meat is cooking, add cumin, turmeric, chipotle powder, salt, pepper and paprika.

Once meat is browned and add vinegar and Worcestershire sauce. Then, add ketchup and stir well. Last, add the brown sugar. If youd like yours to not have a kick, add a tad more sugar.

After all is cooked and mixed together, its time to serve. We used sourdough bread to make the sandwiches. However, feel free to use buns or any other type of bread you like.

These have quickly become my favorite. The meat has a smoky flavor with a little kick to it. Plus, its great to use in other ways, such as with nachos or even as taco meat.
