Happy Independence Day!

Greetings from Tink World!

Let the strange holiday week begin. It’s really throwing us off with July 4^th right in the middle of the week. We are looking forward to resting and don’t have big plans to celebrate. Team Tink will spend the day relaxing by the pool, grilling and enjoying a slow day.

I hope you have big plans to celebrate our Independence and the fact that we live in one of the greatest countries in the world. I know we say this a lot, but thank you to our service men and women that fight for our freedom. We know that freedom does not come free. The bravery and heroism that those in the military show is incredible. Thank you!  

On a completely different not, we have great news! Fred Petty, our friend from Atlanta that needed a liver transplant, (Grass Fed for Fred Benefit), received one. The surgery took place on Friday and as of today, Fred is doing great. He is in ICU and expected to make a full recovery. We want to thank you guys again for supporting the cause and for your thoughts, prayers, well wishes, etc.

 As for markets, Team Tink will be at the Decatur Farmers Market on Saturday, July 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The market is located on the corner of Trinity and McDonough. We hope to see you there!

Well, that’s all for now. Stay tuned because next week we’ll cover the difference in grass fed, organic and grass finished. It’s important to know that not all grass fed beef is alike!
