Greetings from Tink World! 20160625_183148.jpg

We took part in our first ever cooking class. It was hosted by Kathryn of Southern Scratch. She put together a great menu featuring Tink's Beef and lots of locally grown produce. It was delicious.

The guests enjoyed sampling hamburger sliders, sirloin, NY strip, ribeye and a sirloin tip roast. Plus, there were appetizers, a soup, potato salad and dessert. I'm probably forgetting something too.

We talked about why you should eat grass fed beef, how to cook it, explained the difference in the cuts that were offered and the guests were able to take recipes home of the dishes featured that night. All in all, it was a fantastic evening. We hope that everyone had as much fun as we did. Stay tuned, because there may be another Tink's Beef and Southern Scratch collaboration in the neat future. Be sure to check out our Facebook page for more pictures!

Also, we want to be sure to let you know that we are offering Bone & Co beef broth on our truck. If you are in need of some amazing beef broth made with Tink's Beef bones, come and get it. You can purchase at the farm, at a market or when we make deliveries to your area.

Team Tink will be back in action at the Decatur Farmers Market this weekend. So, come purchase the items for your July 4th celebration from the locals. Grilled peaches and veggies go great with hamburgers or steaks. Plus, we have polish sausage and pork shoulders. A word to the wise, place your order ahead of time so we don't sell out! You can order by sending your wish list to

Well, that's all for now. Have a great week. We'll see you at the market!
