Greetings from Tink World!

Before you read a little about how Tink is doing after her treatment, we need to talk about the Decatur Farmers Market. We will be attending March 1 and March 15. Those will be the last Wednesdays until we swap over to the Saturday Market. The Saturday Decatur Market open on April 8. So, mark you calenders for these three dates to catch us in your neighborhood. Once the Saturday Market starts back, we will attend each weekend.

The weather looks a little rough for market tomorrow. Try to come early if you can. We all know that the weather folks don't always get it right, but tomorrow looks like thunderstorms and lots of wind.

A lot of people have been asking about Tink and the progress/changes we've seen since her stem cell treatment. It's hard to put into words. Those close to Tink have seen small changes. Tink has seen changes as well.

She is in better spirits. Her pain level has decreased and her energy level increased. Yesterday, we worked cleaning out freezers. This was a major cleaning and organizing day. Usually, Tink doesn't take part in this process. However, she took it upon herself to start helping. We worked for several hours, Tink right alongside us. When we finished, she said how nice it was to be able to help again. For the first time in a long time, she didn't have to stop to take a break or to sit because her legs were in so much pain she couldn't stand. She didn't have to take a long break to recuperate. We ate lunch and after a short break, we got back to working.

Her mind has been more clear and she doesn't have to take the time to really think about something to get it out. Sometimes, she would have to think really hard about doing something as simple as walking. It was as if she had to concentrate to make sure her brain and legs were communicating. She walks better now. It doesn't seem like she's working so hard to so some of the simpler tasks.

There have been other changes. Tink is working on a blog, but even she says that it's hard to put into words how things have changed. The best part is, this is just the beginning. The doctors said to give it up to six months to see the full benefits. So, we'll wait and see what else happens. We're already pretty pleased with the results. So, again, thank you for making this possible. It has been incredible to see the results.

Well, that's all for now. Have a great week. We'll see you at market.
